TERRI’S PLACE
Terri’s Place step-down program for single or co-parenting women and their children who have graduated from another AWRC program and are almost ready for full independence. Families in this program are completing some final steps in meeting their goals of self-sufficiency. Terri’s Program is unique as it is one of the very few programs nationally that supports women who are co-parenting, and fostering a healthy co-parenting relationship for their children.
HOW TERRI’S PLACE CAME TO BE:
We recognized the need for a step-down program for women who are co-parenting. Thanks to a generous donation made in honor of Terri, a beloved woman in recovery within our community, we were able to open “Terri’s Place,” an extension of our Weldon House campus.
Eligibility – Terri’s Place is open to:
Women and children who have recently graduated from an AWRC program
Support Programs available to Terri’s Place Residents:

- Sustain – Clothing and Retail Training
